As the Owner or Sr. Manager of your company, you’ve likely bragged about how every job that you’ve ever worked, you did as though you owned it. “Why can’t I just find someone who cares half as much as I do”, is the question I always hear?
I happen to know of two such people.
I can’t tell you exactly who they are because it would put their current jobs in jeopardy, but here is what I can tell you:
Potential Manager#1—Has a Regents Diploma, did some college, ran the family business, then went on to spend almost a decade as a Service Manager of one of the vendors who are on all of your job sites every day! He wants out because he has topped out and wants more. He’s 31 and at about $55k (#37505)
Potential Manager#2—He’s 22, with a similar situation. He has a Bachelor’s degree and has spent the last 4 years on your jobs sites installing one particular product and then he’s out. He works by himself and like the first guy, he works it like he owns it. Guy #2 is willing to start at $17ish. His ideal spot is likely as a carpenter, electrician, or some type of tradesmen. The point is, in a year he’ll be running your jobs. (#37564)
Both guys told me the same thing—they’d like to find something new before the season heats up and they have to leave their current company in a lurch. I interview a lot of people, and both of these guys stand out from the crowd.
They are absolutely worth a meeting. Call the office 716-855-8100, and we will set it up.
